So much excitement and anticipation in the air today celebrating the return of
Hadestown and
Waitress relaunching their Broadway runs. However sadly due to ongoing COVID-19 safety protocols according to
Actors’ Equity Association, there will be NO post-show STAGE DOOR at the moment. We know its sad not being able to have that chance to meet your favorite standout performers. But, there is an alternative way to have that great 101 quality time.
During the COVID-19 pandemic,
Broadway Plus has been giving once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for fans offering VIRTUAL packages for fans to hang out with their favorite performers. These include Meet & Greet / Q&A’s.
In addition for all you aspiring performers that always wanted to sing for your idols, Broadway Plus also include Virtual Private Coachings and Master Class packages. You can prepare your best 16-32 bar cut of your favorite song or a monologue of your choice. From there, your favorite performers will critique, share with your their best advice, and the lessons they’ve learned from their own experiences.
PLEASE NOTE: These Virtual 101 Packages via Broadway Plus will work best on the artists schedules…. now especially with getting back to doing 8 SHOWS A WEEK.
According to their rosters, the following cast members from BOTH shows are offering packages…..
Kay Trinidad (“Fate”) – returning in January,
&
Kim Steele (Ensemble and u/s “Persephone”).
and
Stephanie Torns (Ensemble and u/s “Jenna”),
There are also various replacements from the show’s original run on board teaching including
Shoshana Bean (former “Jenna” on Broadway),
Christine Dwyer (former “Jenna” on the Tour),
Desi Oakley (OG “Jenna” on the Tour and temporary emergency cover in the London company), Jeremy Morse (former “Ogie” on the Broadway and Touring companies), and more.
Another reminder with Stage Door not returning at this time, please NO ranting at the artists and no waiting. This is for the safety of the artists and everyone. Keep following the COVID-19 safety precautions.
