ON THE MARQUEE: HEY SISTER, GO SISTER. SOUL SISTER, FLOW SISTER!! It’s Time to get your CAN CAN back on as the 14 time Tony Award nominated smash hit Moulin Rouge relaunches its Broadway run this Fall!! This show was one of the first few production to have gotten effected by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it’s back SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR than ever.
Our friend has been so kind all day to share many of these updated front of house billboards outside the show’s home at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre. It includes the list of all 14 categories the show is nominated for at the Tony Awards including BEST MUSICAL. It also features photos of the company in action including its Tony nominated stars….
Aaron Tviet – the only single nominee as BEST LEADING ACTOR IN A MUSICAL as struggling writer and bohemian “Christian”
and
Danny Burstein – up for his 6th nominee for BEST FEATURED ACTOR IN A MUSICAL as the title venue’s head ringmaster “Harold Zidler”.
It also includes an updated photo of the show’s new leading lady Stage and screen favorite Natalie Mendoza (who previously played “The China Doll” dancer in the original 2001 film that inspired the stage show) replacing Tony winner (and its nominated leading lady) Karen Olivo as THE SPARKLING DIAMOND herself “Satine”.
MOULIN ROUGE will once again make audiences COME WHAT MAY starting September 24th, 2021 at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Who is excited?!!
