THEY HAD IT COMIN’ for 25 YEARS!! This month marks the 25th Anniversary of a legendary musical that has continued to give audiences the ultimate RAZZLE DAZZLE…. AND ALL THAT JAZZ. We of course are talking about the long running revival of
Chicago. It has just been announced that November 16th, 2021, the company will be presenting a special performance commemorating this huge milestone.
Not only you can expect this beloved show back in action at Broadway’s Ambassador Theatre, the performance is expecting to include special appearances from many of the company’s original cast and alumni company members. No word has been revealed on who is set to appear.

THE NAME OF EVERYBODY’S LIPS IS GONNA BE…… BROADWAY!!! Last night, the company of the legendary long running revival of
Chicago re-REACHED FOR THE GUN playing their first historical performance back after 18 1/2 months. The production returns also at a very exciting time about to celebrate its 25th Anniversary later this Fall.
From the stage of the Ambassador Theatre, here is the cast taking their first curtain call back!! While the bows were happening, the cast even threw red roses petals both to their castmates and the crowd….. AND ALL THAT JAZZ!!!
Also, the show now installed a brand new LED lighting system featuring the show’s logo that rises and is placed in front of the usual plain black curtain.

Bianca Marroquin who graduated from playing “Roxie Hart” on and off for over 20 YEARS and will reopen the production next month now graduating up to the role of “Velma Kelly” and the cast performing musical’s legendary opening number…. ALL THAT JAZZ.
FUN FACT: Mexico-born native Bianca Marroquin makes history as one of few actresses ever in CHICAGO’s legacy to have played both MERRY MURDERESSES “Roxie Hart” and “Velma Kelly” in the long running revival. Other actresses who have done this included
Chita Rivera, Bebe Neuwirth, and
Ruthie Henshall.
CHICAGO will once again have audiences REACH FOR THE GUN at Broadway’s Ambassador Theatre starting September 14th, 2021.
