Want the chance to work with some of the best of our New York Theater stage? Next Sunday, August 26th, 2018, join Tony Award winner Lindsay Mendez (Broadway’s WICKED The Musical, Carousel on Broadway) and acclaimed composer Ryan Scott Oliver (35MM and Jasper in Deadland) will be teaching a FREE master class part of Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver’s Actor Therapy. The classes will be held at Pearl Studios (500 8th Avenue) at 6:30pm and 8pm.
For those who may not know, Actor Therapy is a 5 week Musical Theatre intensive run by BROADWAY’S BEST in helping aspiring performers on their audition confidence, their audition book, feel inspired, learn how to live your life in this world of NYC (which of course as we know is a very competitive place for many performers), and more. SCHOOL’S OUT! Due to recent low ticket sales, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock the Musical is set to play its final encore this January. The show will close on January 20th, 2019 at Broadway’s Winter Garden Theatre following an incredible 3 year run of 31 previews and 1,307 regular performances.
The show (based on the acclaimed film of the same name) will continue to STICK IT TO THE MAN on tour across America. in London’s West End, and more. The show is also available currently for licensing for schools and community theaters everywhere.

This is a music video of Ellis’ version of WICKED’s anthem DEFYING GRAVITY which can heard on her WICKED IN ROCK EP as well as her full Debut album ANTHEMS. It features Ellis after a stressful day breaking free and flying over New York City and London. The way they made both cities in 3D animation is excellent.

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE NEW BAND MEMBERS! The Broadway company of School of Rock the Musical is set to welcome some exciting new junior quadruple threat kids to the Horace Green this summer.
Beginning July 31st, 2017, the cast will welcome Zachary Zwelling as “Zack” (the guitarist), Levi Buksbazen as “Freddy” (the drummer), John Allyn as (“Billy” the stylist), Gabrielle Greene as “Shonelle” (the back-up singer), and Cory Leventhal as “James. (the security guard)” to the Winter Garden Theatre.
The show’s current cast members including original “Guitar hero” himself Brandon Niederauer “TAZ”, along with Raghav Mehrotra, Jersey Sullivan, Gianna Harris, and Sammy Ramirez will all graduate and play their final performances on July 30th, 2017.
