ON THE MARQUEE: Earlier this week, Olvia Puckett began a 2 week stint playing the role of the love interest “Zoe Murphy” (originally standing by and now replacing original leading lady Laura Dreyfuss) in the Tony and Grammy winning smash Dear Evan Hansen. See her now through July 29th, 2018 at the Music Box Theatre.
From July 31st, 2018 will continue to standby and the role of “Zoe Murphy” fulltime will be played by newcomer Mallory Bechtel.

TONIGHT, Disney will dim the lights of the New Amsterdam Theatre ONLY in honor of the late Tony winning showstopper Gary Beach. The actor was well known for originating the role of “Lumiere” in Disney’s Broadway debut smash hit Beauty and the Beast. In addition, he’s known for originating the role of “Roger DeBris” in the stage adaptation of The Producers.
The lights will dim for 1 minute at exactly 6:45pm.
RIP Gary. So grateful to always have BEEN YOUR GUEST.
New Amsterdam Theatre Marquee Will Dim Tonight to Honor Gary Beach
As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, Tony winning actor Gary Beach passed away at the age of 70. Disney Theatrical Productions will celebrate the life of Tony Award?-winning actor Gary Beach on the New Amsterdam Theatre marquee this evening.

ON THE MARQUEE: WOW, WOW, WOW. They’re BACK WHERE THEY BELONG. The Tony Award winning revival of Hello, Dolly on Broadway welcomes back its original Tony winning stars David Hyde Pierce as “Horace Vandergelder” and the legendary and the divine Bette Midler in the title role. See them now through the show’s final performance on August 25th, 2018. The Front of house billboards updated the marquee in honor of their return. Break a leg Bette and David.

ON THE MARQUEE: The Broadway company of WICKED welcomes Jessica Vosk who takes over the lead role of “Elphaba” tonight fresh from a year long run on the National Tour.
In addition, we just found out that Curt Hansen (whose appeared in the both the Broadway and Touring casts) joins tonight as the new “Fiyero”.

ON THE MARQUEE: The Circle In the Square Theatre updated its billboards featuring it’s new cast change of the Tony winning revival of Once On This Island Broadway.
The new billboards feature photos of Broadway veteran Darlesia Cearcy (who originally appeared in the Ensemble for this production) as the new “Erzulie The Goddess of Love”.
and Merle Dandridge (the revival’s original cast member) who returns the production for a strictly limited engagement through August 19th, 2018 reprising her role as “Papa Ge: The Goddess of Death”.
