Cats the Movie will let the MEMORY be relieved like you've never seen it before this Holiday season from Universal Pictures. It will be released in Theaters everywhere on December 20th, 2019.
FUN FACT: This will mark the 2nd time that CATS has been captured on film. The musical was previously filmed as a direct-to-video film recreating Trevor Nunn and the late Gillian Lynne's original staging. It was filmed at London's Adelphi Theatre and starred Elaine Paige as "Grizabella". That filmed performance was seen on Great Performances l PBS and is still available to watch on DVD and Blu-Ray.

The musical which tells the story of the rise and fame of Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter "Carole King" will play its final performance on October 27th, 2019 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Following the final encore, the production will have played 60 previews and 2,418 regular performances. It will also make history as the 27th Longest Running Show in Broadway History surpassing the original Annie The Musical and the 1998 revival of Cabaret the Musical. In additional, it will become the 2nd Longest Running Jukebox Musical in Broadway History.
When it ends its life ON BROADWAY, BEAUTIFUL will continue to wow audiences across the country with its still running National Tour. In addition, the show will be performed in schools, community, and regional theaters around the world with licensing by Music Theatre International.
