Professor Pawk is ?Genie? in Broadway?s ?Beautiful? – Theatre & Speech Department

It has not been revealed on any major Broadway News website to share but we've just found out that Tony Award winner Michelle Pawk (Broadway's Hollywood Arms, Hairspray, Seussical, and Mamma Mia!) has just the cast of the Tony and Grammy nominated smash hit Beautiful – The Carole King Musical earlier this spring.

Since April 2nd, 2019, the Broadway veteran took over the role of "Genie Klein" (the mother of the show's central character and real life inspiration of the show Carole King). She will continue the role through this Summer.

Original cast member Liz Larsen took her final bow late March taking part in the world premiere of the Broadway Bound The Flamingo Kid at Hartford Stage.
