THE RHYTHM OF NEW YORK is back!!! The long running Award winning smash hit
Stomp officially reopened Off Broadway at the Orpheum Theatre. It also marks as the first major Off Broadway show to re-open for the first time in 16 months since being shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After last night’s re-Opening Night (which was met with a thunderous standing ovation from the sold out crowd), the cast woke up early this morning to bring their urban funky sounds on
Good Morning America. If you just woke up now, check out the performance below.

Our hearts are BOOMING with excitement rhythm as the doors to the Orpheum Theatre in the East Village has just just reopened welcoming audiences back to the Award winning Off Broadway smash hit
Stomp. This show has been running here in our New York Theater scene for the past 27 YEARS.
Have you wondered how they have kept the sound of Brooms, Match Boxes (all fire proof), and garbage bags in sync after all this time? How do you make music out of the most random objects? You are about to find out with a little behind the scenes tour from former cast member Simeon Weedall.

HEY, NYC!!! DO YOU FEEL THE RHYTHM?!!! That ultimate urban funky beats is back!! After 16 1/2 months of being shutdown, we are so happy to celebrate the Award winning phenomenon
Stomp as it officially relaunches its Off Broadway run TONIGHT at the Orpheum Theatre in the East Village.
We cannot wait to once again hear those unbelievable sounds of percussions played on brooms, lighters, match boxes, newspapers, garbage cans, and so much more.
As previously mentioned for those who plans to see the show, there are still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic safety precautions underway (especially since Delta Variant cases are rising) consisting of…..
showing proof you are FULLY vaccinated prior before entry into the Theater,
if you are between the ages of 5-11, you are required to take a COVID-19 test prior before attending a performance,
deep cleanings before and after every performance,
all audience members having to wear their face masks for the entire performance,
Along with the show reopening Off Broadway this evening, STOMP will also be bringing those sounds around the world. The show’s US National Tour, London, and International companies are set to relaunch later this year.

Tomorrow, July 20th, 2021, New York City will once again hear the sounds of BROOMS. LIGHTERS, GARBAGE CANS, and more as the legendary Award winning Off Broadway smash hit
Stomp reopens at the Orpheum Theatre for the first time in 16 months. The show also is one of the first major Off Broadway productions to reopen since Live Theater’s abrupt shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The very next day (Wednesday, July 21st, 2021) following their re-opening night, STOMP will appear on
Good Morning America for the 8:30am half hour.
When the show reopens, the toe-tapping percussion troupe will feature….
