Doubtfire which was abruptly shutdown after 3 previews due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many Theater have been asking on who is taking over for the late Montalvo in the role of “Janet Lundy” and others. According to the show’s website, the role will now be performed by Hawaii native Jodi Kimura (who previously appeared in the US National Tour and UK companies of the
Lincoln Center Theater revival of
South Pacific plus tons of Regional shows). This will also mark as her Broadway debut!!

HEY MR. ARNSTEIN, HERE I AM!! So much buzz and vibe going on today for the highly long awaited Broadway revival of
Funny Girl especially with the debut look of the show’s leading lady Golden Globe nominee Beanie Feldstein for the first time in costume as “Fanny Brice”.
GET READY FOR HER LOVE as the first TV promo commercial has also debuted for the production. It includes Feldstein’s “Fanny Brice” in that iconic opening moment of the musical. “Fanny” walks into the New Amsterdam Theatre empty and standing in front of that legendary mirror saying the most famous first line of them all….. HELLO, GORGEOUS!!! It also includes the notable sounds of the musical’s powerhouse anthem DON’T RAIN ON MY PARADE playing in the background.

Beginning next week on October 11th, 2021 at the Walter Kerr Theatre, Gordon will serve as the alternate for the role of the goddess of harvest, spring, and vertility herself “Persephone” performing the role TWICE A WEEK.
The role will continue to be performed by its Tony nominated original star Amber Gray as well. However, she will be limiting to doing 6 performances a week while balancing quality family for her 2 young kids.
No word has been said exactly on what the “Persephone” schedule will be like.
