SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR NEWS: Last week, casting has officially been announced for the upcoming London company of the now Tony Award winning Moulin Rouge in the West End. Under the direction of Tony winner Alex Timbers and choreography by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh, this new cast will be led by….
Newcomer Jamie Bogyo in his West End debut as struggling and aspiring writer “Christian”,
Liisi LaFontaine (West End’s Dreamgirls) as THE SPARKLING DIAMOND herself “Satine”,
Olivier Award nominee Clive Carter (Into The Woods and Come From Away UK) as the owner & ringmaster of the Moulin Rouge himself “Harold Zilder”,
Olivier Award nominee Jason Pennycooke (London’s Memphis and Hamilton) as head performer “Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec”,
West End favorite Simon Bailey (Jersey Boys and Heathers) as the rich, vain, and abusive psychopathic “Duke of Monroth”
Elia Lo Tauro as the sexiest tango dancer all of Paris himself, “Santiago” aka “The Narcoleptic Argentinean”,
Sophie Carmen Jones (Chicago and Jersey Boys) as the jealous “Nini Legs-in-the-Air”,
and so much more.
Moulin Rouge will CAN-CAN its way overseas to London’s West End at the Piccadilly Theatre beginning November 12th, 2021.
Along with its London company, this Award winning production continues to play to packed houses every night here in NYC at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Other upcoming productions will include its long awaited North American National Tour and sit-down Australian companies.

Hadestown re-opening full curtain call
WAY DOWN Broadway!!! Last night, the magic returned for the Tony and Grammy Award winning smash hit Hadestown. Anais Mitchell‘s hottest pop-folk opera reopened at the Walter Kerr Theatre to a thunderous screaming sold out crowd. From the minute the cast walked out onto the stage to the curtain call, it featured non-stop standing ovations.
We are still an emotional from seeing all the footage from last night’s historical re-opening of the musicals.
Here is footage from HADESTOWN’s first Broadway bow back!!! It includes the curtain call, emotional speeches from the show’s Award winning director Rachel Chavkin and composer Anais Mitchell, and of course the company celebrating a triumphant comeback performing the show’s closing song WE RAISE OUR CUPS.

ALL ABOARD!!! BROADWAY’S BACK!!! The Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Hadestown is about to take the audience once again on a journey WAY DOWN UNDER THE GROUND.
As predicted, the top of the show began with thunderous standing ovation from the sold out crowd at the Walter Kerr Theatre. We are an emotional mess sharing you footage of that unbelievable morning as the preshow announcement began and before the cast came on.

The company of Anais Mitchell‘s hottest ticket is currently working around the clock getting everything updated and ready welcome back their audience taking them on the ultimate journey and on the ROAD TO HELL once again.
Shout out to one of our amazing friends who was so kind enough this photo of a super cool update outside the show’s home at Broadway’s Walter Kerr Theatre. The 48th Street house is now fully decked out with…. you guessed it…. FLOWERS. Of course, FLOWERS plays a huge part in the story especially the story of the romance between “Orpheus” and “Eurydice”.
HADESTOWN is set to take audiences once again WAY DOWN UNDER THE GROUND on the Great Bright Way this Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
Along with our New York company, HADESTOWN will be launching its National Tour this Fall. It will begin a preview week long run in Greenville, SC starting October 5th, 2021. It will have its official Opening launch on October 13th, 2021 for a 4 week run in our nation’s Capitol in Washington D.C..
