Last night, the LA company of
Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s Award winning phenomenon
Hamilton officially relaunched its run at the
Hollywood Pantages Theatre. We are overwhelmed to see this amazing footage of THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS coming back to life and the cast taking their first bows back.
This company originally opened on March 12th, 2020 (following the success of the show’s ANGELICA 1ST National Tour company launching it there). It was slated to run till September 20th, 2020. However, it was abruptly shutdown after Opening Night due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing Live Theater everywhere to be shutdown.
This limited engagement LA sit-down run of HAMILTON will play the Pantages Theatre now through January 2nd, 2022.
The LA company marks as the 3rd company of HAMILTON being performed since the shutdown. Currently companies playing consist of Australia in Sydney (and soon to hit Melbourne next year) and currently in San Francisco with the AND PEGGY 3rd National Touring company.
The ANGELICA 1st and PHILLIP 2nd touring companies are set to relaunch these next few days.
Other companies of HAMILTON set to reopen will include the show’s inaugural production on Broadway reopening at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on September 14th, 2021. At the same time, the London company officially reopened TONIGHT at Victoria Palace Theatre.

Hamilton relaunches its returning sit-down company in Los Angeles tonight!!! This engagement will be happening though a limited 6 month run at the iconic
Hollywood Pantages Theatre through January 2nd, 2022.
This LA company of HAMILTON originally opened on March 12th, 2020 (following the success of the show’s ANGELICA 1ST National Tour company launching it there). Christopher Nicholas (who previously appeared in the Broadway company as “General George Washington” along with the recent Broadway revival of
Miss Saigon) as the show’s narrator and Villian himself “AARON BURR SIR”,
Joanna A. Jones (who previously played the “Peggy Schuyler” and “Maria Reynolds” in the Broadway company along with Off Broadway’s School Girls) this time taking on the role of “Eliza Schuyler”,
Simon Longnight on the dual roles of “Marquis de Lafayette” and “Thomas Jefferson”,
Tony Award nominee
Rory O’Malley (Broadway’s original cast of
The Book of Mormon) once again taking on royal duties as “King George III” which he previously played on Broadway and the ANGELICA 1st National Tour Company,
Carvens Lissaint reprising his performance from the Broadway company as “General George Washington”,
Broadway favorite Wallace Smith (who appeared in the Broadway and original Chicago companies along with Broadway’s
Godspell,
The Lion King,
American Idiot, and
ROCKY) reprising his performance of the dual roles of “Hercules Mulligan” and “James Madison”,
Ruben J Carbijal reprising his performances of “John Laurens” and “Phillip Hamilton” which he originated in the show’s ANGELICA 1st National Tour and the AND PEGGY 3rd National Tour which included the historical stop in Puerto Rico),
With HAMILTON reopening in LA, it marks as the 3rd company being performed since the shutdown. BREAKING NEWS: An official release date has been revealed for
Netflix‘s upcoming highly anticipated film adaptation of TICK, TICK, BOOM.
Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s film directorial debut adaptation of
Jonathan Larson‘s cult smash hit musical is set to be released on November 19th, 2021.
Prior before its release, TICK, TICK… BOOM will be premiered at the
AFI FEST as the official Opening Night film on November 10th, 2021 in Los Angeles, CA at the
TCL Chinese Theatres.

Hamilton relaunched its first company in America.
The show’s AND PEGGY 3rd National Tour reopened in San Francisco, CA at the Orpheum Theatre. We are so happy to share with you this really cool video those first moments preparing to open the doors, the lights dimming, and the show’s first curtain call back.
This tour of HAMILTON also marks as the 2nd Broadway National Tour ever to reopen since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s also the 2nd production overall of the show to reopen following Australia earlier this past Spring.
HAMILTON’s other 2 National Touring companies (the ANGELICA and PHILLIP Tours) are expecting to relaunch their runs later this year.
As previously announced, The Broadway production reopens at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on September 14th, 2021, in London’s West End starting August 19th, 2021, and will bring its Australian company to Melbourne starting next year.

Hamilton is back where it all takes place…. IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!! Tonight, the show’s 3rd National Tour (better known as the AND PEGGY company) will officially relaunch in San Francisco, CA at the Orpheum Theatre.
It also makes history as, the first American production, 2nd production of the show overall, and the 2nd Broadway National Tour to re-open.

OH WHAT A CELEBRATION it will be from now especially with WICKED making its way back to being performed around the world. Earlier this week, the show’s ongoing National Tour relaunched its run in Dallas, TX.
The Broadway production is set to reopen at the Gershwin Theatre beginning September 14th, 2021…. just in time before its 18th Anniversary. The day afterwards on the 15th, the show’s London company will reopen on the West End at the Apollo Victoria Theatre,.
WICKED IN CONCERT: A MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF THE ICONIC BROADWAY SCORE will officially air on August 29th, 2021 at 9pm EST. Check your local PBS station!!!
